Ivan is an associate attorney at Custodio & Dubey with the Habitability Department. Ivan has extensive experience assisting the underserved communities of Los Angeles. He has practiced over 15 years in administrative and appellate law. Ivan is an attorney licensed in California and Puerto Rico.
Ivan honorably served in the United States Marine Corps. He graduated from the Interamerican University of San German, Puerto Rico, with a Bachelor’s Degree in English (Literature) and received his law degree from Hostos Law School in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico.
Ivan served in the U.S Marine Corps as an Ammunition and Explosive Technician attached to Ammunition Company, 1st, 2nd, 3rd Supply Battalions. The U.S Marine Corps teaches Marines to fight for those who can’t fight for themselves. This is what inspired Ivan to become an attorney and dedicate his practice to defending underserved communities.
Prior to joining CD Law, Ivan worked with the Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights of Los Angeles. Ivan was managing attorney for the Pro Se Department and assisted newly arrived refugees navigating the complexities of Immigration Law.
