Recently, CD Law was proud to serve as a sponsor of the 71st Annual Gala & Awards Ceremony hosted by the Criminal Courts Bar Association.
The evening brought together attorneys, judges, law students, public defenders, prosecutors, and legal professionals from across the legal community to celebrate excellence in the profession and the continued advancement of justice.
Founded in 1954, the Criminal Courts Bar Association has long played an important role within the criminal justice system.
The organization’s mission centers on:
Protecting individual rights and liberties
Improving the criminal justice system
Supporting criminal law practitioners
Advancing continuing legal education
And fostering professionalism and community within the legal field
The gala itself reflected the strength and camaraderie of the legal community.
The annual awards ceremony honors outstanding members of the profession while creating space for attorneys and legal leaders to come together outside the courtroom united by a shared commitment to advocacy, justice, and service.
At CD Law, we believe supporting organizations like the CCBA matters because strong legal communities create stronger representation, stronger advocacy, and ultimately a stronger justice system.
We were also especially proud to see Vanessa Rodriguez recognized in her leadership role as Vice President of the CCBA.
Many in our community may also recognize Vanessa from her appearance on the Sidebar Sessions by CD Law podcast, where she shared valuable insight into the legal profession and the importance of advocacy within the justice system.
Her leadership and continued involvement with the CCBA reflect the same commitment to excellence and service that the organization has long represented.
CD Law is honored to support organizations and events that continue to elevate the legal profession while fostering meaningful connections within the community.
Congratulations to the Criminal Courts Bar Association on another successful gala and on 71 years of continued advocacy and leadership.
