- When & where: Wednesday, at approximately 3:15 p.m., on the 1000 block of North Vista Avenue in Rialto, San Bernardino County—just a few blocks from Eisenhower High School.
- What happened: A large fight erupted involving roughly 15–20 individuals. During the altercation, a juvenile produced a firearm and fired at least one shot, striking another juvenile.
- Lockdown: Eisenhower High School was placed on temporary lockdown as a safety precaution, although on summer break, . The lockdown was lifted minutes later once authorities deemed the area safe.
- Injuries & response: The injured juvenile was driven to the school parking lot, where Rialto police and paramedics responded. The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital.
