When it comes to baby food, parents expect the highest level of care and safety. Even small risks can feel overwhelming when the people affected are our young and most vulnerable.
This week, Gerber announced a voluntary nationwide recall of one of its baby snack products due to the potential presence of foreign material. Serving as a reminder that staying informed about recalls is essential in keeping children out of risk.
At CD Law, we’ve seen the real-world consequences when safety standards fail. As parents, Vineet Dubey and Miguel Custodio approach recalls involving baby food with the seriousness it deserves.
Our firm has advocated for families impacted by unsafe products, including cases involving contaminated baby food. That history underscores why recalls like this one matter and why companies must be held to the highest standards when children’s health is on the line.
Gerber is recalling limited batches of Gerber Arrowroot Biscuits (5.5 oz) that were produced between July 2025 and September 2025 in the United States.
According to the company, soft plastic and/or paper pieces may be present in the product and should not be consumed.
No other Gerber products are affected by this recall.
At this time:
No injuries or illnesses have been reported
The recall is nationwide
Gerber is working closely with the U.S. Food & Drug Administration
Gerber stated that “the quality, safety and integrity of our products remain our highest priority,” and that it will cooperate fully throughout the FDA’s review.
